Andrew J. Spry
Drew was born and raised in Florence, Alabama. He graduated from Bradshaw High School in 1992. He then attended Auburn University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1996 and Master of Accounting in 1997. After finishing the masters program, Drew spent two years in the Birmingham office of Deloitte & Touche, one of the Big Four accounting firms.
In 1999, Drew left Deloitte & Touche to attend the University of Tennessee College of Law. In law school, Drew served as an articles editor of The Tennessee Law Review. He earned his law degree in 2002 and immediately thereafter passed the Tennessee bar exam.
In 2002, Drew began his legal career in Chattanooga, Tennessee at Miller & Martin, a regional law firm with offices in Atlanta, Chattanooga and Nashville. During his time at Miller & Martin, he worked as a corporate lawyer, focusing in the areas of employment, employee benefits and executive compensation.
Drew is married to the former Jennifer Traylor. The two were married in 1997 and have two daughters.
In 2012, a few months after the birth of their first daughter, Drew and Jennifer moved home to the Shoals area to raise their family.
Drew is a member of the American Bar Association, Alabama State Bar, the Tennessee Bar Association and the Lauderdale County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Florence.
